Re: [smf_addin] Morningstar - Is there a way to retrieve elements that require a login first

I have a scraper that collects all Morningstar data available to Premium subscribers into a single spreadsheet.  A sample is here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/9g9627ohgaazf16/Morningstar_All_20200513_intraday.7z?dl=0

The scraper is written in C++, but it creates and calls Perl scripts using Selenium and Chromedriver (needed for logging in and saving cookies) in order to actually query data.  Sharing the program would of course be stupid (it no doubt ensure that Morningstar puts a stop to it).  But if there is interest from any other Premium subscribers, send me an email--we might be able to work something out that doesn't involve any redundant hammering of the website.

How do you log into M* to be able to retrieve elements from Morningstar with RCHGetWebData , e.g. Morningstar rating
