I am using the formula: =RCHGetYahooHistory("adi","2013";,"12","26","2013";,"12","26",,"A",0)

to get closing price at a given date.

The formula works for ^GSPC as a symbol.

But, I cannot get the formula to work for ^DJI. Should I use a different symbol for the DOW?

Yes, but note their is no "Download to Spreadsheet" link on the page, like
you see here:

http://finance.yahoo.com/q/hp?s=%5EGSPC+Historical+Prices

That link is the CSV file that RCHGetYahooHistory() used to use for ^DJI,
before it was removed when Dow Jone asserted their licensing on the DJIA
quotes.

My name is Bac Nguyen, at Sunnyside WA. I have been interested in using EXCEL in finding good stocks.
