IBD has so many different membership options, I'm not even sure what "premium" means. If you can view a stock checkup page in IE, the add-in should be able to use the same IE cookie to access that web page. But I would think the proprietary data on that web page would require some level of "premium" membership.
Or, did you log in BEFORE using the template? If not, you may need to run the smfForceRecalculation macro to get a fresh copy of the web page after you logged in.
Another possibility is that the IE object that EXCEL uses is not the same as your browser version. If that is the case, you'll need to log in using the EXCEL Web Query dialog (keyboard shortcut alt+d+d+w), so that you use that IE object.
A quick check of that would be to open the EXCEL Web Query dialog and see if you can bring up a Stock Checkup page.

Just downloaded your IDB Stock-Checkup.xls but getting error and value in the cells. I have logged in to investors.com <http://investors.com> via IE and also used the smf fix links macro but no joy.
Do you need to be a premium subscriber to IBDs' investors.com <http://investors.com> use this template or is there something else I need to do?

James

Sorry, but I don't see a way. I was able to extract it last year and upload
the file, but this year they've changed it all to a dynamically generated
web page.
