Good morning Kermit.
I was not aware Yahoo financial data contains tons of mistakes.
Thanks for that info.
I've been using mostly Yahoo and MSN. I've found that most items
match on both sites. When they do not, I choose Yahoo.
I also like FinViz but smf-addin does not have data elements for
Finviz, unfortunately.
The beauty of smf-addin, thanks to Randy's great work, is to be
able to automate our investing work. A grea time saver. Of
course, all that is dependent not only on the smf tools, but also
on the reliability of the information.
What site do you use? And do we have data-elements for it?
Cheers,
Armando

Armando, there is a ton of mistake on yahoo. I, personally, do
not use yahoo except as a last resort.
But that's me, tons of people swear by yahoo.

Thanks David.
It is similar to the Free Cash Flow definition used by others.
However, that does not explain why certain companies (SLB, JNJ,
for instance) show N/A on both Operating and Levered.
Still looking/
Thanks again.

Operating cash flow is cash flow from operating activities .
Levered free cash flow is operating cash flow minus interest and
principal payment on the company's debt.

To sum up. For some reason on my box, access to MSN is requiring I login to live.com first. That is what was blocking the MSN functions. If I have IE up and logged into MSN, then the spreadsheet works.
Thanks again for the help on this. I suspect I may have issues on the ithers but at least I know what to do now.
