Doesn't sound like an excel problem as much as an overall system configuration problem that can occur over time with changes.

I won't deny that. However, since I've only owned this brand new laptop for less than 60 days, I don't think that it's a "system configuration problem over time". However, I could be wrong, in which case I need further enlightenment.

I am contemplating taking the plunge. Has anyone experienced any issues with SMF after having done so? Works fine for me! I looked at the source code of a few options web pages. The tables are
there, but only have headers. No rows with option quotes...
Someone mentioned they weren't working for a short time on Tuesday as
well...

I used :smfGetNasdaqOptionQuote and it worked fine. It found weekly and monthly options. The percent change is negative. The Nasdaq option is undocumented, but is a valid function.
Google was not returning weekly options.

I looked at the source code of a few options web pages. The tables are there, but only have headers. No rows with option quotes...
Someone mentioned they weren't working for a short time on Tuesday as well...

It was mentioned in the Excel 2016 thread, but I wanted to give this issue it's own header...
Yahoo options stopped working as of today. Mine won't return anything.

Randy,
Been using this macro for years to get weekly options quote from Yahoo, symbol included AAPL, BABA, IWM, NFLX.
Lately, only BABA will work. I used array entry and when I plug the symbol in the BABA column it gets no data , but when I enter BABA symbol it can display data. For example I will have column entry such as AAPL, BABA, IWM, NFLX.
Will it be the problem of Yahoo ?
By the way, I use the latest version of smf.
Thanks
Alan

I only looked at a few ticker symbols earlier today. All the web pages had
the Put and Call tables, but only headers in the tables. No rows of quotes
data for the calls and puts. Hopefully, a temporary glitch from Yahoo...
