Randy,
I am trying to get the rchgetelementnumber IBD stock checkup template working. I updated the addin to the latest version 8.13.2015. I also replaced the smf-elements-9.txt file in the addin folder. The add in appears to be installed correctly. I successfully tried rchgetelementnumber("version"), and rchgetyahooquotes is working on the spreadsheet. I logged in with internet explorer first and it is still not working for me. Am I missing something?
Thanks, Mark

Yah. IBD updated their website again, so things had to change. See:
https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/smf_addin/conversations/messages/29376
My web hosting service was transferring from Yahoo to another service, so
my uploading capability was gone. Now that you reminded me, I'll upload my
new smf-element-9.txt file to the web site.
At the time, I wasn't sure I was going to be able to update the element
definitions, because their URL change would have caused the formulas to
exceed the 256-byte limit imposed by VBA. However, with some
experimentation, I found out I didn't even need the exchange and company
name in the IBD check up URL. I could just use a placeholder for them (I
used "xxxx") and the URL would direct appropriately. So the new formulas
for the elements are much simpler.
PS: Just uploaded the new element definitions.
