Hi,
I can't seen to get the IBD template working, yet the website seems unchanged. Any ideas? does it work for you.?
I'm looged in with a cookie, all that stuff.
thanks,
Mike

I can't update my website (and thus the template) right now, but the change
that needs to be made is in cell B3:

=smfStrExtr(RCHGetWebData("
http://www.investors.com/search/searchresults.aspx?Ntt=
"&B2,"/stock-quotes/"),"/stock-quotes/",".htm")

I just changed both "/quotes/" strings to be "/stock-quotes/"...

Unfortunately, that will mean the element numbers can't be updated, since
many were already at the maximum length the formulas could be. This change
would need them to be 12 bytes longer. I may have to think about it a while.

question. is there a way to pull in to the template the IPO date and a couple of other pieces of info that are on the stock quotes and news page? would that be a different web page lookup?

If I want to update a spreadsheet with smf data, how do I do this? I forgot since it has been awhile since I've done this. I vaguely remember clicking on alt-f8...but I forgot the function to type in to do this. Can someone (Randy) remind me how? Thanks.

You need to run the smfForceRecalculation macro. I have it assigned to a
button on my toolbar.
