Look like the ADVfn element number formulas not working? for example:
=RCHGetElementNumber($C13,9506)

Or is there another good place to grab most recent quarter balance sheet items? (specially cash, and all debt), as well as recent EBITDA.

I was able to use this formula instead. But didn't know how to make formula automatically grab the most recent column. I used 5 here for 5th column, but this won't work if it's a new company (such as the ticker PLAN)
=RCHGetTableCell("https://www.advfn.com/stock-market/NYSE/JNJ/financials?btn=quarterly_reports&mode=company_data",5,"EBITDA",,,,0,2)

Thanks.

This is working here:

=RCHGetElementNumber("JNJ",9506)

Did you try an smfForceRecalculation? There could have been a temporary
issue, or a bad page retrieval.

These days, I use GuruFocus for most of my financials. But I'm a subscriber
and can access their fully-stocked CSV file. Non-subscribers get limited
periods and can't get all line items.

The difficultly in determining which column to get is why I wrote a special
function to do it. It get involved trying to do it via a direct formula.
You need to use multiple work values.

Randy

Since you converted to GuruFocus do they use the same symbols as Yahoo? Given the number I have, and already doing the conversion from Google to Yahoo, it is a very big job for me. Also, can you speak to their Financials. Yahoo at times seems to lag several months compared to what I got from Google.

I'm afraid I don't use the financials enough to speak to their timeliness.
I used to have severe problems with that on AdvFN. I have used the
dividends frequently from GuruFocus, and they seem to be up-to-date with
announcements. Unlike Yahoo.

As far as ticker symbols, GF uses periods instead of the hyphens Yahoo uses
(e.g. BRK.A instead of BRK-A).
