I too relied heavily on the CSV function to import large quantities of data
at one time. Are there any work-around?

Nothing easy that I see. It would probably take interaction with the IE
object, which is something I try to avoid with the add-in. Too slow and
unreliable. Especially since there are rumors it is going away in future
version of EXCEL.

If you use large quantities of data, you may want to consider being a
subscriber of GuruFocus.

I see that the smfGetGuruFocusItem-Full-Template.xlsx template gets financial info. 4 years and 5 quarters. I may switch to that. Or I recall AnvFn had some financial report history, perhaps that's an alternative also..

GuruFocus members get 30 years of annual and quarterly information. I've
attached an example of their export file.
