The following produces an error. I do not understand why:

=smfGetYahooOptionQuote("AVB","C",DATE(2020,1,17),210,"a")

Thanks,
Bob

Possibly a temporary glitch on Yahoo? It works fine here.

By the way, have you tried getting option quotes using
smfGetYahooPortfolioView()? By array-entering the function over a range,
you can grab a number of data fields for a number of ticker symbols, all
with one quick Internet retrieval.

You can either use the Yahoo option ticker symbol, or generate it using a
version of the formula you have below:

=smfGetYahooOptionQuote("AVB","C",DATE(2020,1,17),210,"z")

....which creates the Yahoo option ticker symbol without accessing the
Internet.

Randy,

Thanks for the response. It is now working fine for me.

By the way, I am currently using smfGetYahooPortfolioView to get my stock quotes. I did not realize that
it did options also.
