Dear Randy,
We'll some progress has been made on getting weekly options, but I've come upon a mystery.
I get correct weekly quotes when asking for options expiring on this Friday May 23. I enter May 23 as the expiration date and the prices are correct.
When I try entering the expiration date as May 30, (for next friday) I get error messages, even though there are options with prices for May 30. Yet, when I tried using the following day (Jun 1) for the expiration, I do get prices -- but they are incorrect prices. One would think that I wouldn't get any prices, but I do.
I'm going to try to attach a screen shot to this posting -- the formula can be seen.
Thanks.

It sounds like you have an old version of the add-in. It used to be that
any usage of day 30 or 31 assumed you wanted a quarterly option. And any
day of 1 assumed you wanted the option expiration for that month.
I had to change those assumptions when the weekly options came on the
scene, since they could fall on those dates (as you are seeing right now).
Just grab the latest version of the add-in and those issues should go away.
You can always check what version you're using with:
=RCHGetElementNumber("Version")

Yeah. The change was made early in 2013. You also won't have a lot of the
newer option functions. There's a link in the "Tips and FAQs" page that
gives step-by-step examples of using the newer functions.
In any case, just extract the new ZIP archive into your add-in folder,
replacing files as needed. You should exit EXCEL before doing so, since the
add-in is loaded when EXCEL starts up.
