Thanks Randy,
Now I have next challenge...
I have 2 portfolios and first one has say 50 stocks and second one has 50 stocks.
when download the second portfolio, it starts in the csv file at row 52. (first 51 rows has been used by portfolio1 for first row + 50 rows of data).
So if i have to import both portfolios in single sheet, how can i give multiple links? using AND did not worked.
= ( smfGetCSVFile("https://www.google.com/finance/portfolio?pid=2&output=csv") & smfGetCSVFile("https://www.google.com/finance/portfolio?pid=3&output=csv") )
for some reason, I do not want to create a single portfolio with 100 symbols..
thanks,
Prakash

You'll need to array-enter the two formulas over their own ranges.
That may cause an issue if you add or delete things from the first
portfolio.

I thought so. Thanks for confirming.
How do i refresh the link for the array?
=smfGetCSVFile("https://www.google.com/finance/portfolio?pid=2&output=csv")
i tried refresh, f9 and even closing and opening the file. Nothing worked.

found answer somewhere on web....
This often happens with very large and complex spreadsheets. Here are some workarounds you could try:
CTRL + ALT + SHIFT + F9 to recheck all formula dependencies and then recalculate all formulas.
Thanks Randy for your attention.

You need to run the smfForceRecalculation macro. See the "Tips and FAQs"
page for more info on it.

I've never even seen such a data item. If you have a source, you might be
able to use RCHGetTableCell() or smfGetTagContent() to grab it.
