The problem is that they have dividers between every year, and no easy way
to determine where they are going to be. Especially since each year doesn't
necessarily have to have the same number of dividends per year. Some may
pay out other than a quarterly dividend, or have a special dividend at some
point.

I would suggest just grabbing the whole table:

They've changed the chart URLs. What you have before the "?" needs to be "
https://c.stockcharts.com/c-sc/sc"...

I'm seeing similar results. The longer-term charts need wider bars. Since
my documentation is from 2003, there could have been changes.

The best process is to go to stockcharts.com and create the chart you want,
then determine the image's URL.
