Hi Randy, I recently upgraded from Win7/Office2007 toWin10/Office2013. In doing so, the addin started performing differently on "invalid"tickers. One ticker that I track is PRLE, Pillarstone Capital REIT. It is stilla valid ticker on my actual trading platforms with a last trade date of 4/2/19.Yahoo finance no longer recognizes this as a valid ticker, which is fine. Theproblem is when this is part of a list of tickers, it appears to "hang up" theaddin. All tickers in the list AFTER this one do NOT show any data.  They show "-" in the cell.. You can workaround this by deleting the "invalid" tickers, but it can be very confusing todetermine what went wrong when Yahoo decides a ticker is no longer valid. Itmight be worth editing the addin on the next release.

Thanks, S

Yes, PRLE is not a valid ticker symbol for Yahoo. If I try to use it, it
routes me to a symbol lookup page.

Sometimes Yahoo recovers gracefully from invalid tickers. Other times not.
I've not noticed a "cause and effect" relationship. And since Yahoo can
return tickers in a different order than they were sent, there's really no
way for the add-in to quickly and easily determine what truncated the
returned list. All the add-in can do is determine which ones WERE processed
correctly, and you already know that based on what was returned.

All of that is done on Yahoo's side, before the add-in gets the data.
Something in the Win7 to Win10 change must have triggered a different
response from Yahoo, for the same data request.

Hi Randy & Others,

Doing a smfForceRecalculation as linked from http://ogres-crypt.com/SMF/Tips-and-FAQs/ http://ogres-crypt.com/SMF/Tips-and-FAQs/ fixed the sheet with RCHGetYahooHistory for me and all data was downloaded.

sending an update and my thanks!

Amit
