Re: [ExcelVBA] Assigning value to a cell

The syntax doesn't make sense..

First:
Do you have a Sheet called "Adjustments"?
if the date in D1 is 10/1/2011,
then the value you're placing in cell B3 is ">=40817"

which really makes no sense.

Did you intend to make it a formula of some sort?

Subject: [ExcelVBA] Assigning value to a cell

I've done this dozens of times but when I step through a function to this line
of code:

Sheets("Adjustments").cells(3,2)=">=" & D1

where D1 is a date, the yellow line disappears and the function stops.

Obvious solution but I can't see it - thanks!
