Index Returns;

Hey!
I'm having trouble discerning what index is being compared in the element s 4910-4914 morning star trailing returns vs. Index.
On Morningstar's website the default is MSCI EAFE NR USD, but the numbers don't add up to the value returned when I use the element in excel.
Does anyone know how to get the trailing returns for an index, specifically the S&P 500 and MSCI EAFE NR USD?
I'm trying to use my own element;
9568;Evaluate;i;=RCHGetTableCe ll("http://performance. morningstar. ",1,"MSCI EAFE NR USD");;;;;;;com/fund/ performance- return.action? t=~~~~~®ion= USA&culture= en-us ;;0
And I haven't found a website that reports the trailing returns for the S&P500, does anyone know of a place to get them or maybe and index that would match it?
Does anyone have any ideas? I'm trying to get the YTD, 1 year, 3 year, 5 year and 10 year returns so I can better compare mutual funds.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Does that formula even work for you in normal mode? As far as I can tell,
the web page is dynamically generated, so the add-in shouldn't be able to
extract any data from the page. Is there a reason why you don't use the
full print report page? That seems to have everything you want:
http://quicktake.morningstar. com/fundnet/ printreport. aspx?symbol= VFINX
It's what the defined elements use.
I have no idea what MSCI EAFE NR USD even is, and I don't see it mentioned
on any funds I've looked at, but elements 4812 and 4813 tell you which
category and which index the funds are compared against. And the print
report also has the returns of those two benchmarks for all the periods as
well.
I'm finding your message very confusing, since it appears the Total Returns
template seems to have all of the data you're asking about?

Hey Randy,
Sorry for the confusion and thank you for your help. I was unaware of the quick take pages and now I understand values returned more fully. I Thought Morningstar compared all funds to one index by default as a basic benchmark. http://quicktake.morningstar. com/fundnet/ printreport. aspx?symbol= odmax
This is where the MSCI EAFE NR USD comes in. Thank you for your help and your time in sorting this out.
