That's the definition of the element. To use it, you would do something
like:
=RCHGetElementNumber("MMM",785)

Your smfpricesbydate function downloads adjusted closing prices. If I want to download unadjusted closing prices is it possible?

Not as that function is currently set up...
You'd need to use RCHGetYahooHistory().

I used this formula =RCHGetYahooHistory("4677.KL",2009,1,1,2014)
and it says "Something wrong with dates..."
Did I make a mistake somewhere?
