Hi Randy,
A spreadsheet that I frequently use is displaying errors for the following elements:
- 944
- 691
- 692
- 595
-596
In addition, the following formula is no longer pulling in data (displays "Error"):
- =smfGetTagContent(" http://finance.yahoo.com/q/pr?s="&$C$5,"p",1,">Business Summary")
I'd like to know if these errors are global or specific to me. I tried several tickers with no lunch (i.e. MSFT, IBM, AMZN). If it is the latter, can you offer suggestions to diagnose and repair errors?
Thanks,

Hmmm. All of those work fine for me right now using ticker symbol MMM.
Since all are Yahoo items, it may have been a temporary glitch on Yahoo's
part. Did you try running the smfForceRecalculation macro, to force the
add-in to try and retrieve the web pages again?

Interesting. I tried the following (in order of event):
1. smfforcerecalculation
2. Checked Yahoo pages directly to ensure data was populated
3. Restart spreadsheet/Excel, smfforcrecalcalculation
4. Restart machine, smff.....
No luck. Let me know if you have any other suggestions.
Thanks in advance.

Hmmm. Try the EXCEL Web Query dialog (keyboard shortcut alt+d+d+w), and
navigate to this web page:
http://finance.yahoo.com/q/ks?s=MMM
Does it look normal to you? If that works, try this in a new workbook and
tell me what it returns:
=smfGetTagContent("http://finance.yahoo.com/q/ks?s=MMM&x=1","table",-1,">Market
Cap")
Another possibility, but a long shot at this point -- do you have your
Internet Options set to get a new copy of the web page each time it's
accessed? It's possible, but unlikely after a reboot, that IE is caching a
bad web page...?

I notice that your RCHGetElementNumber for numbers 542 - 552 say none or obsolete. Why is this. Can't you get them at:
StockScouter Rating System - MSN Money http://investing.money.msn.com/investments/stock-ratings?symbol=t
as an example?
