Good Day,

The Yahoo lookup URL returns the first 17 characters of a stock or fund. Is
there a way to lookup or return the full name of the stock or fund using the
ticker symbol?

Thanks for any help on this issue.

The "full name" will depend on whatever you use as your data source.

If you have a different data source that you prefer, one of the SMF
functions may be able to extract it from there. But scraping a web page,
one ticker at a time, can take a while if you have a number of tickers. Is
the extra time worth the effort?
