I think most went back to the beta version before the Yahoo changes were
made:

...or are using OptionsXPress as the data source instead of Yahoo.

Is the file still working on your end? When I opened, all the cells below the column titles are blank. I only see four column titles - Date, Wdy, EUR/USD and Error.
thanks

I had to change the date. 2006 was too far back. 2006 was fine when I
created the template years ago. :)

Hi Randy, fair point on the time involved, thanks for the reply.

The "full name" will depend on whatever you use as your data source.
If you have a different data source that you prefer, one of the SMF functions may be able to extract it from there. But scraping a web page, one ticker at a time, can take a while if you have a number of tickers. Is the extra time worth the effort?

The Yahoo lookup URL returns the first 17 characters of a stock or fund. Is there a way to lookup or return the full name of the stock or fund using the ticker symbol?
Thanks for any help on this issue.
