I use smfPricesBetween about once a month but it has changed so I have to rebuild the spreadsheet every time I use it. I am using Excel 2013 on a laptop with Chrome. The smf file has not moved. But ow when I launch Excel I get an error message that it cannot find the smf file. When I load the spreadsheet I get "name" errors throughout as soon as I try to update it. Here are screen shots of the configuration. See any issues?

The image of the file listing show the add-in location as "C:/Program
Files/SMF Add-In" (the years ago original suggested location).

The image of EXCEL's Add-in manager shows the add-in location as "C:/SMF
Add-in" (the current suggested location).

The image of the file you opened is showing it pointing to the old
location, not the location EXCEL is expecting to find the add-in. So it is
not automatically resolving the external location and should be warning you
of unresolved links or asking if you want to refresh them.

What I would suggest:

1. Run the smfFixLinks macro (located in the add-in). It can be run from
the EXCEL context menu. This should fix the links.
2. Save the file, so it saves the hard-coded links to the proper location
of the add-in functions.

The next time you open the file, everything should be fine, since it will
find the add-in in the expected location that matches the add-in manager
location.

You would probably be best off getting rid of the add-in files in the
"C:/Program Files/SMF Add-In" location.
