[ExcelVBA] Re: HowTo Configure Excel under Win7

 

I'm no expert on this, but does the college use Roaming Profiles?
I'm fairly sure excel add-ins are included in such a profile.
What server version is being used?

Yes, this sort of answer always leads to a raised eyebrow or two; perhaps they don't know how to do it, or can't be bothered to do it or it's against 'policy' and they're not telling you that to save you/them taking it further.

Having a roaming profile that includes what add-ins are available/installed in Excel would seem like a very-common-and-useful-thing-to-have - I cannot see it that Windows 7 and a modern Server would not allow it.

However, when it comes to enabling macros automatically, that may be a bit more difficult - for obvious reasons.
