You're getting the error because you still need to update the
smf-element-1.txt file. The element definition you show below is the old
one. The new file has this definition:

MSN;Last Price;
http://investing.money.msn.com/investments/stock-report?CR=1&AF=1&IH=1&AIE=1&AIR=1&FRH=1&FRK=1&ISA=1&ISQ=1&BSA=1&BSQ=1&CFA=1&CFQ=1&TYS=1&ITT=1&ITP=1&Type=Equity&Symbol=~~~~~;1;STOCKACTIVITY;LAST
PRICE; ; ;0;0;0;0

Note the different URL.

I recently changed internet service provider (ISP). The problem is that now I cannot load ADVFN data to my excel sheet nor I can access the ADVFN webpage. I thought it was a problem with my new ISP but recently I tried loading the same excel sheet and ADVFN webpage using a neighbor's connection (which has the same ISP) and both my sheet and the webpage worked.

Has anyone experienced this problem before and is there a solution to it?

You can try the AdvFN fix from the LINKS area of the group, to see if that
helps...

Otherwise, if your browser can't even access the site, I'm baffled. That to
me would indicate some type of firewall is stopping access.

Hi, I was using RCHGetWebData("http://charts.barchart.com/chart.asp?sym="&Ticker&"&data="&LEFT(Period,FIND(" ",Period)-1)&"&den=HIGH&vol=Y") in order to retrieve historic Barchart data. This does not seem to work any more. Does anyone know how to find the sourcecode so the data will extract again?
Best Regards

Sorry, but it looks like BarChart is no longer putting the quotes into the
source code of the web page, but doing the process dynamically now. So
there is nothing in the source code of the web page for the add-in to
extract.

Does somebody know where to get historic high, low, close for currencies and futures, since Barchart is not giving the source code any more? .

Last night I noticed that Yahoo Finance was not providing historical prices for ^DJI, ^DJT, or ^DJU. Current quotes were updating but the previous prices were gone. Anyone else notice this problem? If so is this a permanent change?
