RE: [ExcelVBA] Source file path to be changed for all pivots in a worksheet

Call the linked file "database.xls" or xlsx or whatever

With the database file and the reporting file CLOSED, Open the new file
which might be called "Dump June 2012". Save as "database.xls" Confirm
overwrite the existing file.

Now open the reporting file and it should be perfectly linked. Also
INDIRECT functions will work (which you cannot achieve with Edit Links).

Subject: [ExcelVBA] Source file path to be changed for all pivots in a
worksheet

Dear Friends,

I have two excel working files, in which one is workings as a data base and
another one is a Reporting file which is based on the pivots generated from
the database file.

Everymonth, the database and the reporting file will be refreshed. I am
unable to change the source file (database) for the new version of the
reporing file.

Is there anyway to change the source file (database) path in the reporting
file in single time to refresh the pivot based on the latest database dump.
I am fine with manual change and VBA coding. It would be really helpful for
my project.

Could you anyone help in the abvoe case?

Thanks & Regards
