It was a recent thread similar to my situation, but I am not sure if there is a resolution.

All of a sudden my spreadsheets that use the SMF are not working.

When I open the spreadsheet I've got a message from Microsoft Excel : "The workbook contains links to one or more external sources that could be unsafe. If you trust the links, update them to get the latest data. Otherwise, you can keep working with the data you have."
The are in the message 3 push buttons: Update, Don' update, Help.

The values in the spreadsheet are not updated. If I enter Update or Don't update nothing happens.

If I enter a different Ticker, all cells in the spreadsheet have "#NAME?".

The formula for a cell for the Share price shows

='C:\SMF Add-In\RCH_Stock_Market_Functions.xla'!RCHGetYahooQuotes($A$2,"l1")

I don't know why is inserting 'C:\SMF Add-In\RCH_Stock_Market_Functions.xla'! in the formula.

Regards,
Jose L. Jacob

This has been discussed in a few message threads already. The problem
appears to be related to a recent MicroSoft security update. It's not
letting EXCEL load the add-in when EXCEL starts up. As a result, you are
getting link errors, because EXCEL can't resolve the links to the add-in.

The path to the add-in was inserted into your formula when EXCEL saved the
workbook. EXCEL does that automatically. When it later opens the workbook
and can't resolve the link, it tags it as an unresolved link and leaves
that path on the formula.

I don't have a solution to return things to the way they before. One person
says they load EXCEL, then go into the add-in manager and checks and
unchecks the add-in.

In an individual workbook, click on the "Don't Update" box when the error
message comes up. After the workbook is loaded and the add-in is
"connected" via the add-in manager, run the smfFixLinks macro to fix the
unresolved links.

One thing that occurred to me last night, that I haven't had anyone try yet
-- add the SMF folder as a "Trusted Location" in your EXCEL security
settings. Previously, when you installed an add-in, it WAS considered
trusted. Not sure if that will help or not.

Yes...this happened to me y'day.  I tried reloading the add-in again.  It started working.
Reporting issues like this here is very helpful.
thanks

Randy, I've just tried adding the C\smf as trusted location and it worked like a charm!

Thanks Randy again ^_^

Worked great.

Having problem importing this web site:
http://www.investing.com/rates-bonds/world-government-bonds

Any suggestions?

The only unique thing I could find to identify a table is a label within
the table. For example:

=RCHGetHTMLTable("
http://www.investing.com/rates-bonds/world-government-bonds","Bulgaria 1M")
