A big thanks from me too. I can't imagine what you have to keep up with. Been using this for years, and you continue to amaze.

Updated to the last version.

Today though, many Yahoo elements are returning "Error" (elements from 941ish to 990ish).

Anyone having the same issue today?

Same issue - as of today. Was working fine over the weekend.

More Yahoo changes

Hopefully, the latest change will fix all of the "Error" responses in Yahoo
data retrievals.

*Date* *Routine* *Description*
2017-05-01 (Many) Modified routine to retrieve web pages
2017-04-27 smfGetYahooJSONField New experimental function to extract data
by field name from JSON file

Check these website pages for updates:

New/updated files:

-- RCH_Stock_Market_Functions-2.1.2017.05.01.zip

-- Change-Log.html
-- smfGetYahooJSONField-Function.html

Best practice is to close EXCEL before updating file in the SMF folder.

Re: RchGetElementNumber 621 = Yahoo eps growth rate

Is anyone else getting an error for rchgetelementnumber 621, Yahoo eps estimate growth rate?

Can anyone recommend an rchelelementnumber for eps growth rate?

Thank You.

Same problem. It was working fine over the weekend (Saturday I think) but stopped working again today.

Basic elements such as the one below (where A1 is ticker symbol) for AAPL, BAC etc. all return error while the Yahoo page contains estimates data.

=RCHGetElementNumber(A1,560)

Hmm. Doesn't work for me today either. Try this:

=smfGetTagContent("https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/
^DJI","span",1,">Dow",,,,1)

Nope. Still returns Error

When I click on the 'Error' in Excel I get the following message:

Unable to open https://finance/yahoo.com/quote/ https://finance/yahoo.com/quote/. The internet site reports that the item you requested could not be found. (HTTP 1.0/ 404)

yahoo pages that I could download with the Excel web query no longer work so I'm guessing Yahoo is making changes that the web query will not work with. Doesn't the add-in use this method? Yes/No?

The good news is the API still comes in.

The smfGetYahooOptionQuote has stopped working. It last worked on Friday.

=smfGetYahooOptionQuote(Y2,AB2,Z2,AA2,"l") it returns #NAME?

#NAME? usually means the function can't be found. Are you sure the add-in
is activated in the add-in manager?
