1. Open up the macro dialog (alt+F8), type it in, and click on "Run" when it becomes active.I guess I can try this from any of my working files or xla file. Version entry gives result: Stock Market Functions add-in, Version 2.1.2018.01.24 (C:\SMF ADD-IN; Windows (32-bit) NT :..00; 15.0; ; ; 1, so I guess xla installation and location C:\smf add-in is fine.

Having used your files for quite some time, life is not the same without these quotes in an excel file :)) I am sure so many others feel the same...

Further to my note below, I tried now @ around 7AM EST. I tried Data/Edit Links/Open source/enable macros .....I could see it's working, but can see only 11 stock symbols, all the rest blanks...may be I find a way around if it's not going to work for a large database?...
