SMF functions are working fine now when I open during market opening hours.
I will explore smfFixLink macro later.  However, I dont see this in the popular commands in my office 2013/windows 10 version.

I wrote the smfFixLinks macro because the Data/Edit Links/Open Source process is not a reliable way to fix the problem. And you do NOT want to enable macros. That can expose your system to all types of security issues. Because this macro is in an authorized add-in, it already has security rights.
As far as only seeing 11 stock symbols, that's usually a result of an invalid ticker symbol. Yahoo doesn't always behave well with a bad ticker symbol in the list.

Further to my note below, I tried now @ around 7AM EST.   I tried Data/Edit Links/Open source/enable macros .....I could see it's working, but can see only 11 stock symbols, all the rest blanks...may be I find a way around if it's not going to work for a large database?....

When trying to add a button to the quick access toolbar, there's no reason
an SMF macro would be in the "popular" list. Try listing all available
macros.

It would depend on why it isn't working. The most likely problem is an
older version of the IE object being used by EXCEL. I've never found a way
to update that specifically.

What isn't working?
