Randy, you mention in the above response "the best way to get option quotes from Yahoo these days is to use the smfGetYahooPortfolioView() function." How do you get option quotes? The 91 or 92 Field# and Field Description items do not list "options" as an item to be returned. Is there a formula you are using? Are there additional Field#s?

There's an example in the template...you just need to use Yahoo's option
ticker symbol. I use most of the same fields I use for equities -- bid,
ask, last traded price, etc.

Randy,

I try to get the stock price from this AAstocks site, https://www.aastocks.com/en/stocks/quote/quick-quote.aspx?symbol=00700&S=Y https://www.aastocks.com/en/stocks/quote/quick-quote.aspx?symbol=00700&S=Y

In particular, I am looking for the closed price (331.2) , change (2.2), change % (0.669 %).

Thanks

Alan

Sorry, but that link doesn't populate with data in the source code of the
web page.

Randy,

Thanks for prompt response.

When I enter the symbol as 700, the data will appear. Under such circumstance, is there still some way to overcome this ?

Regards

Alan

It may render the data onto the page dynamically within a browser, but the
add-in pulls data from the source code of the web page.
