Is there a worksheet available to retrieve data from CBOE for weekly options? or is't possible to get data from that site?

http://www.cboe.com/DelayedQuote/quotetable.aspx

Thanks
Peter

I've not had any luck getting data from the site. I can't create a
bookmarkable URL.

Yup that does work. Opening the spreadsheet today
shows yesterday's closing data at the bottom.

Thanks!

Hmmm. I never joined spokeo. I wonder where they got their information? It's
only 5 years out of date. :)

My nephew lives in my St. Paul condo now.

Hi Randy,

On the EXCEL 2007 Data tab there is an icon named "Refresh All". Does this do the same update as your "refresh button"?
thanks, --N

No. EXCEL "Refresh all" is an EXCEL process that just applies to EXCEL data
queries. It will not update add-in functions.

Pulling Competitors off of Yahoo! Finance

Randy,

Using the RCHgettablecell function I am trying to pull the competitors ticker symbols off of yahoo finance http://finance.yahoo.com/q/co?s=SIGM+Competitors.  There is no title in the row labled "tickers" and there is no column header. Do you have any suggestions?

I included a screen shot that I've attached to this email.

Cheers,

- Scott Jackson

Just go backwards, as in:

=RCHGetTableCell("http://finance.yahoo.com/q/co?s=SIGM",column,"Market
Cap:",,,,-2)

...varying "column" from 2 to 6.

RCHGetElementNumber problem with ADVFN template

Posted by: "mutantcar" mutant.car@virgin.net   mutantcar

Hi,

I'm getting 'error' for every RCHGetElementNumber in the RCHGetElementNumber-Template-AdvFN-Financial-Statements.

I'm trying to get UK Stocks initially. I've tried 'LLOY', 'LSE:LLOY', 'LLOY.L' in the Ticker field, to no avail. I've also tried 'IBM'.

I've tried with both Excel 2010 & 2007, both on Vista

'Version' parameter returns: 'Stock Market Functions add-in, Version 2.1.2010.08.02' - the latest I believe?

The template is otherwise 'Out of the box'.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Joe.

I don't see any financial statements data for LSE:LLOY on AdvFN, so you
*would* get "Error" returned for any attempted data retrievals there.

However, IBM is currently working for me. Check the "Links" area of the
group for an AdvFN item there that may help.
