Hi Randy,
I am using Windows 7 64 bit with Excel 2010. I have signed on to IBD in IE, but cannot seem to get anything back except "Error". I have tried downloading the latest template from the "Works in Progress" section of the website, and have tried several different common tickers such as AAPL, AMZN, etc. I would appreciate any feedback....

I just tried it here and it's working fine for me, so the problem must be
that you're not getting logged in with the version of IE that EXCEL is
using for its IE object.

See this message thread on the Yahoo group for more info:

Have you been able to import anything from an IBD Stock Checkup page to
EXCEL, using the normal EXCEL Web Query process?

Unless MicroSoft has changed something, that should be using the same
Internet engine the add-in is using via EXCEL.

Investors.com is broken. Talked to them on Thursday when I couldn't download that day's paper. Still broken on Saturday. No ETA for a fix provided.

Randy - or others,

I have used the work-around to log-into Investors.com just fine on my desktop (running Excel home and stucent 2013) and it never seems to log me out which is great. However, on my travel/backup computer - a Surface Pro 3 running Excel office 365 - when I use the workaround in the Get Web Data URL it sends me into an endless loop of "An error has occurred in the script on this page" and it never logs me in and I have to use the Task Manager to get out of the loop. Does anyone have any experience using Office 365 excel to access investors.com data? I have tried loggin in through Internet Explorer and the new Edge browser to no avail.

Any advice?
