Randy,

How do I know which of the elements of the RCHGetElementNumber() excel are working? For example none of the ADVFN, MS, Zacks and many others that are not crossed in the Excel are working for me.

AdvFN -- The smfGetAdvFNElement-Template-All-Line-Items.xls template from
the website appeared to work for me, using ticker MMM.

MS -- The SMF-Template-Morningstar-Stock-Data.xls template from the website
also appeared to work for MMM. Some of the other templates may be from old
MS web pages, but they did work last time I tried them. But I'm not
convinced MS is updating them properly.

Zacks -- The SMF-Template-Zacks-Data.xls template from the website also
appeared to work for MMM, except for EPS (TTM)...

Which version of the add-in are you using?

=RCHGetElementNumber("Version")

Are your element definitions up to date?

Do you have the two AdvFN "fixes" mentioned on the "Tips and FAQs" page (if
you need them)?

You may need to visit MS before using the template, as they sometimes have
a redirection going on the first visit of the day, so the site cookie (for
IE) needs to be updated to prevent the redirection.
