I'd like to be able to log into my broker (bank) and get some market info for various stocks. Via I/E I can log in, but when I try logging in through Excel Webquery then the site gives me script errors and I can't enter the user id or password.

I need to do this before using any functions. Currently any function just returns error.

Using Excel 2010 and I used www.pinlady.net/plugindetect/ie/ http://www.pinlady.net/plugindetect/ie/ (you provided) to determine that the IE browser version is 11.296

My desktop browser is IE 11.483.15063.0

Do you know of a method around the errors or would an update to the library file make a difference?

Thanks

It's usually a challenge for me to get logged in. One thing I've found that
helps is to hit the little red "x" a few times if the web query session
appears "locked up".

I'm not sure why the browser sessions are out of sync. Mine are as well. It
doesn't help if I log in with my browser version of IE. I need to do it
with the web query IE object.

Thanks - that's helped as I had to click "stop" for each keystroke, but I was able to log in.

The problem is that the log in needs to click on a button and Webquery doesn't help as it loses the login text after hitting import or clicking on the button. Think I'll need to write something for this part.

I don't think you have any code in your add-in for this kind of process. The other problem is that the website seems to change the address from WWW1 or WWW2 or WWW3 for the extracted quotes.
