It would help if you had cited the links. In any case, this link works fine
for me:

I just received

build 8326.2073 this morning. I've been running for a few hours with no
issues on my add-in workbooks.

But I've never used OneDrive. I use Google Drive. With Google Drive, my
files are actually stored locally, but the Google Drive application
synchronizes that folder with the Google Drive servers. That allows me to
use the same files on both my laptop and on my desktop. If I update a
workbook on my desktop, Google Drive detects the change and synchronizes
the file onto their servers. And then the Google Drive application on the
laptop detects that the copy on the Google Drive servers has changed and
updates the local copy on the laptop. So, in the end, the laptop, the
desktop, and the Google Drive servers all have the same version of the
workbook.

For my desktop (and laptop), the locations of EXCEL files and the add-in
are:

C:\Users\Randy\Google Drive\...
C:\SMF Add-in
