Hi Randy,

I'm using the static pages to pull data and I'd like to be able to grab the 52 week low date and 52 week high date.

Can't see these fields in any of the cheat sheets and wondering if it's available?

Thanks

I don't see it on Morningstar?

You could use the smfPricesBetween() function...

Unfortunately Yahoo doesn't provide consistent data on TSX listed companies and that's why I was hoping to get this from MorningStar.

While MorningStar isn't as fast as Yahoo, the data seems more accurate (especially with dividends). The 52 weeks dates would be helpful and I'll give smfPricesBetween() function a try.

As always - many thanks for your fantastic add-in and support.

I've experimented with pulling data from this page and while the data doesn't seem to be in the page source, the website seems to block any access to the data.

Assume SMF can't grab anything as it's not in the source, but can you confirm that we can no longer get data from Stockhouse? Maybe there's something I'm missing.

Thanks

I'd avoid that as a source. For one thing, it's very slow. For another, all
of their data seems to be coming from Morningstar using APIs to retrieve
the data in JSON format. The page uses a number of frames to display data.

I think you'd be better off just going to the source of the data.

Thanks Randy.

I noted that the 52 wk dates show up on Stockhouse and if they get the data from MorningStar - then I was hoping it was available in MorningStar.

That's what prompted my other question, so I'll use take your good advice and stay away from Stockhouse.
