I am having the same issue with #NAME? showing up, and the only way I can get it to work again is to disable the add-in, then push OK, then go back and re-enable it.

I tried downloading the add-in again and, my surprise, the SMF Add-In folder that I had before has disappeared from my C drive. After making a new one and extracting the add-in into the file, it is continuing to return #NAME? and telling me that the location of the SMF folder is in my sharepoint account in the formula bar and that I need to sign in to my account to continue, However, my username/password that I always use on this PC doesn't work, but after I do the disable/enable thing I mentioned before, again, it shows that its back in the C drive and works properly.

You probably need to unblock the XLA file.

This may be the issue that occurred in July of last year because MicroSoft
issued some security updates. It's not letting EXCEL load the add-in when
EXCEL starts up. As a result, you are getting link errors, because EXCEL
can't resolve the links to the add-in.

For a workaround suggested by Microsoft, until they fix the issue, see:

@Gary - you hit the nail on the head - I live in South Africa and the default local setting is , for decimals. I changed the settings in the options section of Excel and now all the values are numbers that can be used in calculations. THANKS!
