I have the same problem on my Windows Vista (Internet Explorer 9) computer. Any formula/function that retrieves data from Barchart.com, now returns an Error. I've had that problem for about a week or two; they worked fine before that. However, those functions work correctly on my Windows 10 PC. Both computers use Excel 2007.
On my Windows Vista PC, I can open Barchart.com with my FIrefox 52.9 browser, but IE 9 returns an error - "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage." I think Barchart recently changed their website so it's no longer compatible with old versions of Internet Explorer.
I don't know any way around this on my Vista PC, because the Excel Web Query uses the built-in browser engine (Internet Explorer 9). Windows 10 works fine.

Hi Randy, Barchart works fine but now its gurufocus that is not working. I am unable to pick any data from insider transactions table available at https://www.gurufocus.com/stock/aapl/insider https://www.gurufocus.com/stock/aapl/insider. Can you please take a look and let me know the formula that works for you. Thanks

Sorry, but that web page is built dynamically and the data is not within
the delivered source code for the web page, so there's nothing there for
the add-in to extract. The data comes from a JSON call, but the API is
protected.
