Is anyone else not getting updated close prices from Yahoo? For instance, check a fund - NBGEX - closed 7/1/13 at 57.92, but Yahoo shows the previous close of $57.20 as the Last Price, thus not updating in the spreadsheet. Any thoughts? Just slow this morning? Someone at Yahoo is hungover?

The Yahoo CSV file, which feeds RCHGetYahooQuotes(), says the last trade
was 6/28/2013, so it looks like it hasn't been updated since then...

Does that happen often? When would you expect it to be corrected?

I noticed MFs did not update last night...and remain not updated this morning on a spreadsheet. However they have been updated through yesterday in the "historical prices" part of the site.

As for a hangover at Yahoo?...... :-)

It happens from time to time.

As to timeframe, who knows? Have you reported the problem to Yahoo yet?
That there delayed download quotes link is providing data from 6/28 instead
of 7/1?

How is the best way to contact Yahoo to point out the problem with their mutual funds not updating with yesterdays closing prices. Stock & ETF pricing updates are working fine.

On most of their data pages, for example:

http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=NBGEX

...you'll find a "Send Feedback" link at the bottom of the web page.

I would like to thank you for developing and enhancing a good alternative for entering stock data into Excel and sharing it. With MS totally screwing up getting stock quotes into Excel 2003 with MSN Stock Quotes Excel Add-in which I have been using for years but with decreasing reliability I decided to bite the bullet and try SMF. A little bit of growing pains, but got it up and running in a couple of days. Was very disappointed at first because it was so slow and recalculated every time I entered something in another cell. Finally figured out I needed to use the array input. What a difference. Lightning fast.

I also investigated using GoogleFinance functions in Google sheets to have a backup when Yahoo was sick (like yesterday & earlier today). But didn't take long to figure out it could not come close to doing what I need. Documentation isn't very good either. Would like to know if you have a good alternate source to backup Yahoo data. I have a manual backup download of data from Yahoo that I developed for MSN Stock Quotes when it screwed up. But that doesn't do me any good now.

Thanks again for all your work & sharing.

Bob
