[ExcelVBA] Re: Copy column range of formulas to next column

 

Steve,

I also had the problem of chart data using formulae which evaluated to
zero in future periods with no data - and thus making the chart look
ridiculous with my chart lines all gravitating to the X axis (zero). The
solution I came across was to use an if condition in the formulae and
get each item of chart data to evaluate to the NA() formula when there
was no actual data. In contrast to zeros this NA() formula is completely
ignored by the chart - so the chart looks sensible (blank) in future
periods. I have not tried this with a trend line but I would expect it
to work.
