Why would I get #NAME in all the cells, when all my other spreadsheets using SMF work just fine?

Best regards,

Jim

Oh. I thought you meant the URL links *to* the files.

But you're probably getting #NAME! errors because he had his add-in in a
different location than yours. You just need to run the smfFixLinks macro
to remove all of the paths in front of your add-in functions in the cells.
Or, you could do it manually by doing a "Find and Replace All" of those
paths, changing them to be nothing.

This is a common issue when workbooks are shared, because EXCEL saves the
hard-coded location of the add-in and NOT the fact that it's using an
add-in. But once you fix the links, then save the file, everything will be
fine next time you open that file from your hard drive, because it will be
saved with the location of YOUR add-in.

Oh yes, I remember that now. It's been quite a while since I had to do that and forgot.

Thanks Randy.

Best regards,

Jim
