It would all depend on the website that has the information and on how they
display it...

I have an excel file with a list of 50 stock symbols in column A. I want to get the latest stock price and have it show up in column B next to the stock symbol. How can the add-in do that?

Thanks...

Check out the documentation of the RCHGetYahooQuotes() function.

Use the plug-in for Commitments of Traders data on futures from CFTC

Hi,

Has anyone found a resource where we can use the plug-in to download the historical data series of Commitments of Traders (COT) data on futures from CFTC?

We have been looking for it for a while and couldn't find it. The Excel file downloaded from the CFTC website is not easy to extract into time series.

Thanks.

Where to download generic xth futures contract price histories?

Posted by: "gz_cp" gz_cp@yahoo.com   gz_cp

Where can we download the price histories for generic xth futures contract for popular commodities such as oil and copper? For example generic 12th or 60th month oil futures (in Bloomberg CL12, CL60)

I know we can get the data from the Bloomberg terminal but we cannot afford it as an individual trader. Is there any cheaper way/source where we can download them? (I have IB and TOS but they don't seem to have them so I am looking at third party vendors/websites to use the plug-in for.)

End-of-day data for the past 10 years would be sufficient.

Thanks.
