Yes, but note their is no "Download to Spreadsheet" link on the page, like you see here:

http://finance.yahoo.com/q/hp?s=%5EGSPC+Historical+Prices

That link is the CSV file that RCHGetYahooHistory() used to use for ^DJI, before it was removed when Dow Jone asserted their licensing on the DJIA quotes.

Hmmm. Not adjusted data though. But you could retrieve the data with
something like:

=smfGetCSVFile("
http://performance.morningstar.com/Performance/stock/exportStockPrice.action?t=IBM&pd=custom&freq=m&sd=01/01/2012&ed=12/27/2013
")

Thanks Randy. "Not adjusted data though" ... that's correct. But should not be a problem with the dividends included in the file ...

Kind regards, Ton.

PS : Sorry for the "mirror" behavior of my Outlook ...

Hi Randy,
I haven't used your add in since 2011. I had built some tools for automated stock selection using the addin but I tried using it again but a number of the links which worked previously is no longer working. Could you give me some suggestions to fix the problem?

Thanks,
Camile

Take a look at the "Location Errors" item in the LINKS area of the Yahoo
group...

Hi Randy,

I'm trying to use RCHGetTableCell to retrieve the Beta for German stocks from a German website, e. g.

=RCHGetTableCell("http://www.finanzen.net/risikoanalyse/BMW";5;"Alternativen";"Beta";;;1)

The result should be 1,2 - but RCHGetTableCell returns 12 as it seems to simply ignore the comma as the decimal separator. I would at least expect it to return a string "1,2" instead...

Changing the local system settings to use a dot as the decimal separator does not help.

Any chance to change the behavior of RCHGetTableCell to work with comma a the decimal separator?

Many thanks
Markus

That's how VBA converts the data -- that is:

CDec("1,2") = 12

It appears to ignore the comma unless followed by 3 digits.

You could use smfGetTagContent() to grab the raw data, then convert it
yourself...

=smfGetTagContent("http://sg.finance.yahoo.com/q/hp?s=b20.si","p",-1,"Currency
in")
