Does anyone know where to find extractable Short Interest Ratio for Canadian stocks? I believe Yahoo Finance used to provide this in the download data by RCHGetYahooQuotes element s7 but since mid-March they have not provided several key pieces of information on Canadian stocks.

The only site I have been able to find that has this information is (example symbol L:CA)
http://www.investorpoint.com/stock/L%3ACA-Loblaw+Companies+Limited/share-information/ http://www.investorpoint.com/stock/L%3ACA-Loblaw+Companies+Limited/share-information/.
This page shows
Short Interest: 11.51m (as of 07/02/15)
Short Interest Ratio: 21.78
% of Float: 2.80%
I don't know if it's possible to extract any of this information but it may be difficult to set up the formula to accept variable data for the symbol because this page also looks for company name. Any ideas?

I wish Yahoo would just fix their quotes but they are unresponsive.

Randy,

I build an extensive Excel Workbook for Fortune and S&P companies that download data points using your api formulas.

It was working well for about a month. The Workbook crashed one day and when I open the autosave file, I began having problems. First many of the Zacks data points would show Error. I copied the good ones to the Error cells and it would still be the same. Afterwards, I re-did the Zack data points from stratch and now is running fine.

Now, I am having the same problem witn FINVIZ data points. a majority would sometime show Error on ocassions.

Not sure if this is an Excel or Explorer problem?

Thanks in advance for your help.

If there's a problem with a web page, you'll get an error result no matter
whether you copy it elsewhere or not. That's because the extraction of a
data element is done from a saved copy of the web page (so that it doesn't
need to be retrieved over and over again). But if the saved web page has a
problem, you need to use smfForceRecalculation to replace it with fresh
copy of the web page from the Internet.

Also, unless you have your Internet Options set to always get a fresh copy
of a web page, then you could also have a stale page there as well.

When I get an unexpected Error result, my first choice is to run
smfForceRecalculation. If that also returns the Error result, then I start
looking at the URL in my browser, to see if the website has a problem or
has changed.

I hadn't used this is a while and when I tried to I get Error in the majority of the cells and #VALUE in a few others. I did a smfForceRecalulation on it and that did not change anything. Any ideas?

Thanks.
