Hi Randy,
the "news" option in Reuters Key Developments template doesn't work at my end. The "key developments" option works just fine.

I thinkered with the formula to get it to work again without sucess.

Any suggestion on getting the news option working again would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I don't understand what you mean by "news" option? I only see a "key
developments" option.

from your interactive broker account (everyone does have one, right?) you
can display term structure for any futures contract.

just select the contract, right-click, select 'charts' then 'term structure'

you can even create overlays showing, for example, term structure on
multiple dates to see how the curve shifts over time.

imho, every trader should have multiple (real $$) accounts (i have them at
ib, tos, and fidelity). each has their own unique deep and rich content,
and as well as functionality that i couldn't be without. both tos and ib
have dde data feeds to populate excel spreadsheets -- you can even trade
from the ib interface based on excel-created formulae. and fidelity gives
you direct access to their proprietary, in-house level-2 trade book. (if you
think you're seeing every bid/ask on tos and ib, you are naive -- and it's
all on fidelity just by using their active trader pro interface)

RCHGetTableCell still gets data when no internet connnection

Hi,

I unplugged the internet but RCHGetTableCell still returns the value it remembers.

Is there a way to make it not do it so that when there's no internet it returns NA?

Thanks.

OK I solved it using a method rharmelink gave earlier.

Thanks.

wikiposit.org, great source to use the plug-in

I am able to use the plug-in to create and download so many economic data there.

Stocks and futures data too.

rharmelink you might want to consider making an efficient function for that because I think it will become a popular data source very soon.

It appears to get its historical stock quotes data from Yahoo...

If it's just someone collecting data from different sources, there's no
guarantee they'll keep the data up-to-date. And if they are getting their
data from other sources, I might wonder about its continued availability.

You'd be better off getting the data from the original source.
