Does any one know where one could get the insider ownership percentages for the past four quarters?

Watch your numbers, as they may or may not include large individual
stakeholders (> 5%). I would suggest you start at the company's Investor
Relations web page, or email the Investor Relations contact.

You might also try ...

http://www.insider-monitor.com/search.html

http://www.insidermonkey.com/

... or a Google search, something like ...

"insider ownership" mcd (with the quotes)

... or the regular Financial sites ...

http://finance.yahoo.com/q/ir?s=MCD+Insider+Roster (replace "MCD")

http://www.nasdaq.com/symbol/mcd/insider-trades (replace "mcd")

http://investing.money.msn.com/investments/institutional-ownership?symbol=mc
d (replace "mcd")

http://investing.businessweek.com/research/stocks/ownership/ownership.asp?ti
cker=MCD (replace "MCD")

http://research.scottrade.com/qnr/Public/Stocks/Insiders?symbol=MCD
(replace "MCD")

etc.

As a last resort, look up the "Form 4" filings with the SEC, or at an
EdgarOnline data distributor such as ...

http://google.brand.edgar-online.com/?sym=MCD (replace "MCD")

http://research.scottrade.com/qnr/Public/Stocks/SECFilings?symbol=MCD
(replace "MCD")

... but you will need to figure out the totals manually.

Thank you for the suggestions and the warning on large individual stakeholders. I did notice that some sites have different numbers for the insiders which puzzled me, and I think your note could explain the disparity. But why would they not include these individuals (with stakes > 5%) if they are insiders?

Best,

Moe

I can use the various functions and get them to work. However, when I try to use any of the templates or files I get the following error message response

#name? query response

I was using the following template but get the same message for other files.

smfGetAdvFNElement-Template-All-Line-Items

Thanks

Check out the location errors item in the LINKS area of the group. You need
to fix unresolved links.

Hello Randy,

I am trying to extract a table of the recent insider trades from www.insidertrading.org. I have been able to do so using the following array table link:

=RCHGetHTMLTable("http://insidertrading.org/?sort_by=acceptance_datetime&asc=&symbol="&A1&"&date_from=2012-11-01&date_to=2012-12-02&submit=+GO+","clear:both",1,"center;margin",-1)

Where I replaced the ticker symbol with "&A1&". But when I tried to replace the dates with references to cells with self-updating dates, the link did not work. Is it possible to do this at all?

Sure. If cell B1 contains an EXCEL serial date, you'd just use something
like:

TEXT(B1,"yyyy-mm-dd")

...as a replacement for the date in the URL. But it wouldn't do any good to
format the content of cell B1 as yyyy-mm-dd and then try to concatenate it.
It would still just concatenate the value of cell B1, which is a 5-digit
number.

I'm just guessing where you may have gone wrong...
