Randy, I entered =RCHGetTableCell(smfStrExtr(smfGetTagContent("http://quicktake.morningstar.com/stocknet/bonds.aspx?symbol=" & A6,"td",-1,"iframe"),"src=""",""""),1,"Credit Rating","<tr") but returned error.

That works for me. I put ticker symbol MMM in cell A6, then changed it to
IBM. Got "AA" and then "AA-".

Are you a COMPLETE fucking idiot?
Randy develops the add-in, makes it freely available and offers constant support. Never asks for a thing from anyone and you just show up with an attitude.

Why don't you piss off and never have anything to do with this group or Randy's add-in? That'll teach him.

asshole

You're kind of an ungrateful bitch, aren't you.

(Randy is too nice to say it.)

Go pay someone for all this.

Oh wait. There is no one.

New year problems Randy ? You really think this is a normal answer ? I know how to navigate the files area of a group but I suppose that an informatician like you should have put a central help file for the SMF environment. From there I can manage the problem. In stead of having to look everywhere in order to find what I need. Anyway I will have to go back to my cURL world where this exists ... Frankly I just don't understand this answer and would never have expected this from you.

Regards, Ton.

If someone can't navigate the FILES area of the group, they aren't going to be able to use the add-in...

There are too many things in the FILES and LINKS area of the group that SHOULD BE referred to.

Thanks and no thanks Randy. Let's say I'm a firsttime SMF user and want to start using SMF. Therefore I must download the SMF environment. Where can I find this software ?

Should be a simple URL ...

Hello,

Happy New Year to all.

I am using a query to bring in ^DJI (5EDJI) price history. I actually page through itmultiple times and getting it from Yahoo.

But the Volume is wrong. Does anyone know where I might be able to get the same data as is on Yahoo, but with the correct volume? I am trying to get back to around year 2000. All of the web sites I have found do not show tables, only graphs.

Google has the data, but I can not figure out how to page through the data to get allof the data.

Thanks,
David

The daily file from here:

http://www.masterdatacsv.com/Downloads/Composites/NonSub.htm

...has data back to 1990. You can grab it with:

=smfGetCSVFile("
http://www.masterdatacsv.com/lite/DJ30Daily-CompositeStats.csv")
