Randy,

I'm having a hard time determining the latest thinking on the adjusted closing prices. My understanding is that the only accurate historical pricing is the daily Yahoo pricing. (open, close, adjusted, etc.) Is that correct?

Is the monthly data still out of wack or has it been fixed?

I'm not aware of another free dividend-adjusted quotes source that can be
downloaded easily.

I just checked MCD, which paid a dividend in August. The monthly data for
August was not correct. Both the high and the closing price for the month
had been adjusted for a dividend that had occurred days earlier. Prices
should only be adjusted for data prior to ex-dividend dates.

Modifying smfPricesBetween() to provide multiple periods for one function
invocation and one Internet request is still on the todo list...
