Hi Randy - I am having a little problem with the table. I want to format the "Date" column to yyyy-mm-dd, But is not accepting the formatting. Could it be that in the date some strange character is appended?
In the source of the web page this is what I see:
<tr class="odd">
<td class="left">Oct 27, 2017</td>
<td class="right">2.42%
</td>
</tr>

It's text data. You'd need to convert it to an EXCEL serial date value in
order for it to accept a date format.

 Hi Randy, I guess this is a very elementary question, how can I convert the data to an EXCEL serial date?
What is different from Yahoo history? I don't have this problem with the dates.

smfGetYahooHistory() knows that it is processing a date field, so it does
the conversion. In fact, the data that Yahoo sends in the JSON file is a
UNIX date (# of seconds since 1/1/70) and needs to be converted into an
EXCEL serial date (# of days since 1/1/1900). Otherwise, 2017-10-30 would
show up as 1509321600. The EXCEL serial date value is 43038.

You'd need to add another column to convert the date in each row. Something
like:

=DATEVALUE(D18)

Or, do your lookup using a formatted date -- something like:

=TEXT(C21,"mmm d, yyyy")

For example:

=INDEX($E$17:$E$52,MATCH(TEXT(C21,"mmm d, yyyy"),$D$17:$D$52,0))

...where $D$17:$E$52 contains the results of the RCHGetHTMLTable() function
and C21 is the EXCEL serial date value you're trying to look up.

I am using the latest version of the GetYahooHistory with the "A" for
adjusted close price on monthly data and seem to only get the last price. I
also have the "Adjust" option set to "1."

Are there any ideas on this?

This appears to work fine for me:

=RCHGetYahooHistory("MMM",,,,,,,"m","da")

Date Close
2017-10-30 $231.22
2017-10-01 $234.74
2017-09-01 $209.90
2017-08-01 $203.15
2017-07-01 $200.02
2017-06-01 $207.00

Which version of the add-in are you using?

=RCHGetElementNumber("Version&quot;)

It looks like Barchart has changed the web page, at least in changing the
URL and adding the 5-day moving average values.It also looks like I forgot
to change the momentum template to include the new element number instead
of the old hard-coded definitions.

However, all of my advances and declines for element definitions appear to
be coming through fine. For example:

*#* *Value*
1146 Mon, Oct 30th, 2017
1147 758
1148 1227
1149 41
1150 408760000
1151 434810000
1152 5830000
1153 84

The current definition of element #1153:

=RCHGetElementNumber("Definition",1153)

...should have this formula:

=smfGetYahooJSONField("None","barChartMM","data.1.raw.newHighs")
