Database

I was wondering if anyone could give me some suggestions. I want to download monthly data onto a database and then query the data I need to do any analysis I want.

I'm wondering if it is best to set that database as a separate WORKSHEET within the SAME WORKBOOK in Excel, or should it sit separately in a DIFFERENT WORKBOOK.

The database should be run once per day to get the end of day data.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Currently I have the database sit within the SAME WORKBOOK.

portfolio tracker integration?

I have previously installed the add-in and it works great. I am looking for a comprehensive portfolio tracker which tracks and displays dividends, CAGR, max draw down, an equity curve, volatility, and sharpe ratio. Portfolio transactions would be entered manually (buy/sell/date/shares, etc.)

Has anyone developed a template like this using the add-in or have any other cloud-based recommendations?
