RE: [ExcelVBA] Datedif and day-of-week?

A bit further Googling leads me to believe that 400 is not a same-day
year adjuster.

The basic one seems to be 28 years. This presumably compensates for
normal leap years, but does not allow for the century "not a leap year"
and the 400-year "is a leap year".

I have a suspicion that the two wouldn't come together for 14 x 200 =
2,800 years. :-(

And will the year 4,000 be a leap year or not? :-)

Regards, Dave S

Subject: [ExcelVBA] Datedif and day-of-week?

*If I have Tool Analysis pak installed, how would I determine what the
day
of the week is for a date such as January 12, 1805?

One possible way I thought of was to grab the month, day, and add 400 to
the year. Then use weekday function to get the weekday, however a quick
test of looking up that date on the Internet and excel show different
days
of the week, so I wonder if 400 is the wrong number to use?

*Thank you.
